Single-row taper roller bearings can only take axial loads in one direction. The forces generated in the bearing by radial loads, and the force acting axially, must be offset by an external counter force. This is why in practice single-row taper bearings are mounted against a second taper roller bearing.
Dimensions comply with data in DIN ISO 355 and DIN 720, 1979

SKF 30 mm Taper Roller Bearing, 62 mm OD - 30206

Designed to deliver fluid rolling action and low friction during operation, this SKF steel taper roller bearing can simultaneously handle radial and axial loads. The projection lines of the raceways meet at a common point on the bearing axis and aid in its smooth function, meaning you can count on this unit's long service life and reliability. Achieve a rigid bearing application by mounting two roller bearings against each other and applying a preload. This component is ideal for heavier loads at lower speeds.
• Metal tapered roller bearing
• Inside diameter of 30 mm
• Outside diameter of 62 mm
• Race width of 17.25 mm
• Static load rating of 44 kN
• Steel dynamic load rating of 46.5 kN
• Open fatigue end type
• Limit load of 4.8 kN
• Limiting speed of 11000 rpm

What's the difference between a roller bearing and a ball bearing?

A ball bearing makes point contact, meaning only a small area of its surface touches the race. A roller bearing makes line contact and has greater surface contact with the rail. This gives it higher shock resistance and stability under heavy loads.
