MR-J3-20A1

The Mitsubishi MR-J3-20A1 is an AC servo amplifier that operates with 0.2 kilowatts of rated output power. The MR-J3-20A1 servo amplifier must be connected only to single-phase AC power supplies. It supports 100 to 120 Volts AC of 1-phase voltage and 50/60 Hertz of frequency at both its main and control circuit power supplies. The MR-J3-20A1 servo amplifier supports speed control, position control, and torque control modes for controlling a servo motor. The servo has USB and RS-422 serial communication options which support programming through a computer. In the position control mode, a 1 Mbps pulse train is used for control of the speed and position of a compatible motor. In the speed control mode, an external speed control command is used to control the direction and speed of a servo motor. In the torque control mode, an external analog command is used to control the torque of a servo motor. The current rating of the MR-J3-20A1 servo amplifier is 1.5 Amps. The many protective functions that the MR-J3-20A1 servo amplifier has include overheat protection, encoder error protection, high error protection, power failure protection, and overcurrent protection. The open housing of the MR-J3-20A1 is designed to promote natural cooling which relies on movement of ambient air over the servo housing. Corrosive gasses, dust, dirt, flammable gasses, and oil mist must not be present in the MR-J3-20A1 servo amplifier’s operating environment. The MR-J3-20A1’s rated temperature ranges for operation and storage are 32 to 131 and -4 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit respectively.
