DAGE 5000P is a wire bonder from the UK-based company DAGE and is designed for a variety of high-performance applications. It is capable of attaching wire, ribbon cable, as well as wedge and ball bonds on a range of substrates from large scale assemblies through to the most demanding of small component applications. 5000P has a solid, compact structure which fits conveniently into any production line. Its performance is enhanced by highly precise positioning, using an aid of a high resolution CCD camera image recognition equipment, as well as constant force and energy control. The system is equipped with four bond heads for simultaneous and rapid operation with outstanding quality and reliability. The unit allows for fine adjustments to be made to the wire pitch and current levels, allowing for a highly accurate operation, with high speed and reproducibility.
